Ole (Ziggy), This handsome 2006 colt is sired by OLIVIER (Owillie) by the great Dutch stallion IDOCUS. IDOCUS is considered to be the best Dutch Warmblood stallion to have stood in the U. S. to date and represented Holland in the 2004 Olympic games. IDOCUS has won numerous championships on both continents. Olivier’s dam is a Dutch warmblood mare of unparalleled distinction, having achieved the predicates of Keur, Ster, Preferent, and Prestatie in the Dutch Warmblood society and having produced several FEI competitors and top jumping horses. Olivier is now competing at the Grand Prix level and won the Grand Prix Special at the King Oak dressage in July. He also won the FEI High Score of the competition, and has qualified for the Olympic selection trials. This stallion is proving to not only be a top international competitor, but consistently passes on his tremendous power, trainability, and kind disposition to his foals.
Ole's dam, Tres Bien, is a daughter of the exciting GOV approved stallion, Rhodes Scholar. This great young stallion is a son of the outstanding dressage stallion, Rohdiamant, and the states premium elite mare, Tantieme. This mare was, in turn, sired by Feiner Stern and achieved 1d ranking in Rastede’s Brilliant Ring and 1b prize for her class at the National class in Warendorf. In 1995 she became Champion Mare and won the Future Prize at the Show of the Best in Oldenburg. Feiner Stern was awarded the title of Main Premium Champion Stallion in Oldenburg (1987). He has sired 18 approved sons and 26 states premium mares including the States Premium Elite mare, Tantieme.
This lovely colt is bold,
very friendly, and an excellent mover. He has been handled
extensively, is very willing to learn. He was shown
at Kasson Ridge Dressage Performance Show. He placed third in
the USDF Prospects in Hand with a combined percentage score of 72.9%
and received comments such as "good active hind leg", "good balanced
topline", and "nice correct leg conformation". He’ll be such a fun horse for
anyone who is smart enough to snap him up!!
