The sires of our young horses:  Note that we do not own these sires but we have carefully selected them for our mares.

Hoftanz (His Highness, Hohenstein, Rotspon) is a gorgeous son of His Highness, who won his stallion performance test with an overall score of 149 and an index of 155 for dressage. The dam´s sire Rotspon and the grandsire Weltmeyer were also winners of their stallion performance tests.  His bloodlines include Donnerhall, Furioso II, Caprimond, Rubinstein and Brentano II among others.

With three excellent basic gaits and his gorgeous light movement, we felt this stallion to be an excellent choice for our breeding program, especially for our Silvio daughter Feodana (Silvi), who recently foaled a lovely filly for 2010.  Hoftanz, ridden by Johannes Westendarp, won the Bundeschampionate qualification class at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, Germany.  He scored 8.3 to take the lead in a field of 22 competitors.  The following comment is from Eurodressage "The black stallion showed outstanding basic gaits. He was very rhythmical in trot, ground covering in the walk and uphill and active in canter. The highlight of the test was probably the contact with the bit which was always light and steady at the vertical".

Rhodes Scholar shows tremendous elasticity in his gaits and excellent character for dressage training.   He won many shows at M level in 2003 in Germany scoring  up to 8.8  and qualifying for the 6 year old Bundeschampionate.  He also qualified to represent the German team at the World Championships in Verden.  In 2004 he started out well in the higher M level classes winning his first start of the season winning a large class.  Rhodes Scholar competed and won at Prix St George and was in training with Katrin Burger for the Grand Prix.  His foals are leggy, modern types, with many that earned first premium and were inspection site champions in Germany.  They all have wonderful temperaments and are extremely attractive.  His damline has produced 12 licensed stallion sons in Europe as well as Bundeschampions, high priced auction horses and successful dressage competitors.  We are sorry to report that this fine stallion passed away.  We do, however, have frozen semen so that we may continue passing on his great characteristics.

Our Martini daughter, Sazarac, produced a very handsome colt by Rhodes Scholar.  This colt was awarded "premium with distinction" at the 2009 GOV inspection.   Our mare, Silvi, is confirmed to be in foal to this stallion for 2011.

Ironman is well known for his great temperament, outstanding athletic ability, personality, intelligence, easy trainability, superb conformation and world class bloodlines, all of which he passes on to his offspring.  In Germany, he was given one of the highest if not the highest scores for jumping ever given out to a young stallion.  He came to this country at 2 1/2 years.  In his second season of showing, he moved up into High Modified, Open and Gran Prixs, showing amazing consistency by placing in 33 out of 38 classes, with over half of those placings being first or second.

Ironman offspring have been consistent winners in breed classes, winning many Champions and Grand Champions.  Our Silvio daughter Silvi has presented us with a colt by this stallion that has been recently sold.  However, you may still see him on our sale page.
