The sires of our young horses: Note that we do not own these sires but we have carefully selected them for our mares.
is an elite Hanoverian stallion sired
by DeNiro, who is a son of the legendary Donnerhall - perhaps one of the
most successful dressage stallions of all time. Devon Heir's dam is also
sired by a dressage legend, Rubinstein I, who sired 66+ approved
stallions and was
himself a successful Grand Prix competitor having been a member on the 1996
In 2006 Devon Heir earned the USDF Breeders Championship Grand Champion Stallion Nationwide. In 2009, Devon Heir won nearly every under-saddle class he entered with scores in the 70's, and was Grand Champion Fourth level horse at Pebble Beach under rider/trainer, Willy Arts. In 2010, Ashlyn De Groot took the reins, competing Devon Heir in the Young Rider division. Ashlyn and Devon Heir competed successfully at the Prix St. Georges level, qualifying for the Young Rider National Championships in Lexington, Kentucky. Devon Heir and Ashlyn were ranked 1st in the US with the American Hanoverian Society for Young Riders at the Prix St. Georges level for 2010.
Devon Heir is of modern type, with lovely conformation and three correct gaits that are fluid, rhythmic with great suspension and expression. Devon Heir is producing dark, refined foals with beautiful appearances, correct conformation, outstanding temperaments, and spectacular movement.
Rubinero combines highly refined bloodlines, a striking exterior, scope and impressive movement with generous shoulder freedom. At his 70-day test he scored an impressive 140.54. He achieved perfect 10's for his character and rideability, a testament to the wonderful temperament of the sire Rubinstein's line. His dam sire, Ex Libris, makes not only jumpers but dressage horses as well. In 2004 Rubinero qualified for the Bundeschampionat for five year old dressage horses and took bronze at the Rastede state Championship. By 2011, Kira Wulferding piloted Rubinero to win either first or second in 10/12 tests at Prix st. Georges and Intermediare I at national shows in Germany. Several of his foals have sold for high prices at the Elite Foal Auctions and one qualified for the German Foal Championships. Now in the US, he is continuing his winning ways by winning the AGDF 8 Palm Beach Derby National Intermediare I Open, under his adult amateur rider, with a score of 71.447%, proving that he is equally willing and rideable by either an amateur or a professional. Rubinero combines his great good looks and impressive movement with a kind and willing temperament that is reputed to pass on to his offspring. He is one of only a few direct sons of the legendary Rubinstein at stud. Our wonderful mare Silvi presented us with a gorgeous black filly by Rubinero.
is a beautiful son of the phenomenal sire Diamond Hit, who was named
by the German Ministry of Agriculture as the Best Licensed and Performance
Tested stallion of all breeds in 2001. Diamond Hit is sired by
international Grand Prix stallion Don Schufro. Diamond Hit's dam, Elite
mare Loretta, is also the dam of Sandro Hit as well as the Premium
stallion Royal Hit.
Diamond Stud's damline is also impressive. Damsire
Lavarino was Champion of the 1996 Holsteiner Stallion Licensing. Lavarino's
exquisite movement and athletic capability are exemplary of his sire Laval
I's reliable influence. Laval I is considered one of the best modern
Holsteiner influences, with offspring competing in the top levels in both
jumping and dressage. Holsteiner blood is not only a guarantee for
supremacy in the jumping arena, but has proven to be one of the most
influential bloodlines in dressage as well.
Diamond Stud's granddam is sired by none other than Rohdiamant, one of the most successful sons of the great Rubinstein I. Diamond Stud's movement is powerful, supple and athletic. Equally impressive is his gentlemanly demeanor in the barn and with people.
Follow Me was one of the colts at the memorable 2012 Oldenburg licensing -
a crop of exceptionally strong movers. He trotted his way to the very top
with his beautiful type and dynamic, powerful, elastic and uphill gaits. He
brought the audience of thousands to their feet. His walk was the
highpoint, which was forward moving in a clear four-beat sequence.
Follow Me's bloodlines are absolutely impeccable starting with his sire
Furstenball, who needs no introduction, and with the blood of dressage hero
Donnerhall influencing three times. Follow Me set a price record at the
auction and then became Champion Stallion and winner of the Main Premium
and Bundeschampion. Although he is a young stallion, we have every
confidence that he will become an international star. We feel that he
brings incredible elasticity and movement to the breeding world combined
with a superb conformation and a very quick and strong hind leg.
Florianus is a stallion with an incredible work ethic. He has very supple gaits with a lot of flexibility and he excels at the collected work. Having competed successfully at the 2003 Bundeschampionat as well at at the 2004 World Championships for young dressage horses, he pregressed rapicly to advanced levels and by the age of seven he was winning at Intermediare. His strong willingness to collect in the most difficult movements of passage and piaffe clearly show his trainability and athleticism and won him many Grand Prix tests in 2006. In 2007 Florianus was the most successful westfalen in Germany in terms of prize money. He was brought to the US where he continued his winning ways at the Grand Prix level. Florianus foals are considered exceptional - both in their personalities and their movement. He produces a modern dressage type with a great mind. We have paired him with our wonderful foundation mare Silvi. This mare also has one of the best brains imaginable with a strong and powerful hind leg. We can't wait to see what this cross produces.
Don Deluxe - The Oldenburg Champion Stallion in 2013, Don Deluxe went on to become the winner of the DWB Performance test in 2015. With his striking exterior and three fantastic gaits, this fabulous young stallion impressed the entire European equestrian world. His sire, De Niro, number one on the WBFSH dressage sire ranking list, has sired a number of licensed sons before Don Deluxe. The dam sire, Rosario, by legendary Rubinstein, was Premium Stallion in Vechta in 2001. He won his performance test, was nominated "Oldenburger Champion" two years in a row and "Vice-Bundes Champion" in Warendorf. In addition, he qualified for WCYH in Verden and in 2003, he was nominated "reserve champion" and later followed excellent results in S-dressage. In third generation, we find Feiner Stern, Champion stallion with exceptional trot capacity. The dam line includes the famous Egitta-line, counting numerous licensed stallions and highly prized mares as well as international competition horses. Don Deluxe is the sire of Donegal out of Nessundorma.
Fiderbach This young stallion moves with excellent elastic, cadenced and sweeping movements. He is a great example of balanced uphill type. His sire, Fidertanz, has made many champion foals, Champion stallions and the German Young Horse Champion of 2012, Franziskus. His dam sire, Baroncelli, was successful at the German Young Horse Championships and the World Championships for young dressage horses and carries the significant blood of Bolero in combination with Pik Bubes. Fiderbach also carries the blood of Alabaster and the Champion stallion Freiherr. When you consider that his dam line has produced the Grand Prix horse Donnerball and the 2012 Oldenburg Champion stallion Follow Me, his blood has fabulous dressage potential.
RUBIGNON - This black Oldenburg stallion was listed for the Swedish Dressage Team in 2008 and 2009 and has 17 Grand Prix wins and placings, including international wins. He carries the blood of 4 generations of Grand Prix and international horses such as Rubinstein, Donnerhall and Pik Solo. His dam line produced many licensed stallions and international jumpers. Rubignon has a superb temperament and at his licensing the Oldenburg judge, Dr. Evelin Vollsted, said "his movement is even better than Rubinstein".
Franziskus - This Premium stallion has an uphill conformation and first class gaits. In 2011 he won the Munster-Handorf Stallion Performance test and then in 2012 he won the 4 year old Stallion division at the German National Championships for Young Horses (the Bundeschampionat) with an outstanding score of 8.75. A Franziskus colt won the 2012 German Foal Champion at the National Foal Show in Germany. A collection of high quality foals was invited to compete after a string of selection trials all over Germany. The judges awarded this elegant colt the champion's sash and national title. Sire Franziskus (by Fidertanz x Alabaster) was the National Foal Champion himself several years ago and now presented his first collection of offspring. Three of his get were ranked in the top 10.
Sir Gregory - This Oldenburg stallion by Sir Donnerhall out of a Don Gregory mare was a crowd favorite at his stallion licensing in Oldenburg, displaying outstanding movement, conformation and beauty. He went on to win his 30 day test in Newstadt/Dosse with very high scores in all categories, including an outstanding 9.25 for temperament, character and conformation and a 9.38 for rideability. In 2005 Sir Gregory's sire, Sir Donnerhall, was "hauptpremien" Champion in Oldenburg and in 2006 he was Reserve Champion at the World Dressage Championships in Verden and the Bundeschampion in Warrendorf. Sir Gregory's dam line is also exceptional and his dam sire is the successful Grand Prix dressage stallion Don Gregory. Our mares Warkantusi and Silvi (Feodana) delivered two beautiful Sir Gregory foals in 2012. See our foals page for details.
Solos Landtinus - Selected "stallion of the year 2005", this stallion is the epitome of the modern Danish Warmblood stallion. He combines elegant long legs, a beautifully shaped front, extremely good movement and top performance in both jumping and dressage. His sire, Landadel, won his 100 day test in Medingen, Germany, and is well recognized for his movement and type and sired 65 approved stallions, 33 prize winning mares, 65 successful S-class jumpers and countless well ranked broodmares. Landtinus' damsire is Argentinus, who has sired many approved stallions, elite mares and top horses in both dressage and jumping. Our mare Tantriste delivered a lovely filly in 2013. She's a rich bay like her daddy. We are very sorry to report that Solos Landtinus has passed away.
Starlight (Sandro Hit, Argentinus, and Cordeur). Starlight demonstrates three beautifully expressive gaits, with a canter that is nothing less than exceptional. At eight years of age Starlight willingly completes all the Grand Prix movements and is competing successfully at Prix St. Georges. Starlight has been undefeated on the line at breed shows, always earning the title of "Grand Champion" with no score under 85%, including Reserve Champion in Open Prix St. George for the German Oldenburg Verband and the GOV Mature stallion "Horse of the Year" and the GOV Dressage sport horse breeding "Horse of the Year". He also won the Grand Champion at the 2008 Dressage at Devon. Starlight is currently in Europe gaining some invaluable international experience. Our Rubinstein daughter Aronja has given us a beautiful filly by Starlight, which we are reserving at this time.
Abacus - This 2005 Dutch stallion by Tuschinski out of Tiane by Mooiman has all the characteristics that we look for in a sire. His temperament is a solid 10 and, although young, he willingly performs all the movements for Prix St Georges under his owner/rider/and trainer, Anne Schmidt, of TamFarms. His dam sire, Mooiman, is currently ranked one of the top 10 sires in the breeding index in the Netherlands, which is an amazing achievemnt for a stallion with few offspring and living in the UK. Mooiman, who won the National Stallion Dressage competition in Den Bosch, has a wonderfully loose shoulder, fantastic foreleg action and much strength from behind. His sire, Flemmingh, is regarded as an outstanding improver of action and is noted for passing on good conformation and excellent movement. Mooiman's dam sire is the renowned KWPN sire Roemer, who scores 143 on the dressage index. Tuschinski, The sire of Abacus, won the dressage stallion test in Ermelo and was second as a four year old in the Pavo Cup in Holland and then went on to compete in the World Young Horse Championships. Tuschinski's sire (Abacus' grandsire) is Krack C, who had numerous Grand Prix wins under Anky van Grunsven.
(Sandro Hit, Contender, Tin Rocco) was formerly
known as Blue Hors Soprano and was ridden by Andreas Helgstrand. He is
a striking, modern, 17.1 h, homozygous black stallion with proven world
class performance bloodlines inherent in his pedigree. Possessing three
excellent basic gaits that exhibit energy, activity, suspension, and
elasticity, his ground covering, movement is effortless and impressive.
His sire is the legendary 1999 World Young Horse Champion and
Bundeschampianate Sandro Hit.
Sandro Hit's sire, Sandro Song, a double graded champion in Oldenburg,
is by Sandro, an international show jumper who won the Danish Derby
ridden by Franke Sloothaak.
Soprano's dam sire is the legendary Contender who won his 100 day test and is one of the most significant sires in Germany. Contender's progeny are characterized by outstanding jumping ability, very good movement, and excellent rideability. SOPRANO's mare line (The Flattopia) produced many international stars such as dressage horse Rubioso ridden by Ellen Bontje; Lord Kem (Champion Stallion in 1989); Continue; Maffay; Calmiro; and Farmer. Soprano is the sire of our colt, Socrates. Sadly, this beautiful stallion has passed away.
Hoftanz (His Highness, Hohenstein, Rotspon) is a gorgeous son of His Highness, who won his stallion performance test with an overall score of 149 and an index of 155 for dressage. The dam's sire Rotspon and the grandsire Weltmeyer were also winners of their stallion performance tests. His bloodlines include Donnerhall, Furioso II, Caprimond, Rubinstein and Brentano II among others. With three excellent basic gaits and his gorgeous light movement, we felt this stallion to be an excellent choice for our breeding program, especially for our Silvio daughter Feodana (Silvi), who foaled a lovely filly, Seraphina, in 2010. Hoftanz, ridden by Johannes Westendarp, won the Bundeschampionate qualification class at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, Germany. He scored 8.3 to take the lead in a field of 22 competitors. The following comment is from Eurodressage "The black stallion showed outstanding basic gaits. He was very rhythmical in trot, ground covering in the walk and uphill and active in canter. The highlight of the test was probably the contact with the bit which was always light and steady at the vertical".
Stedinger (Sandro Hit, Landadel, and Futuro).
Olivier (Idocus, Equador, Porter) and his rider Elisabeth Austin won both the 2006 & 2007 Brentina Cup. Olivier & Elisabeth are now competing at the Grand Prix Level and won both the Grand Prix special and the FEI High Score of the Show at the summer King Oak Dressage Competition. This stallion is not only a top international level competitor, but he is also proving to be a very prepotent sire in that he consistently passes on his outstanding hind leg, his great disposition and his joy of life. Over the years we have had several foals out of different mares and they have all been quite simply spectacular. He has competed in the World Dressage Masters where he came in third in the Grand Prix Special. He is the sire of Willow May, Omologato, Sez Moi, Oliver Twist, Ole and Serenade. See our foals page for pictures of these super youngsters.
Rhodes Scholar shows tremendous elasticity in his gaits and excellent character for dressage training. He won many shows at M level in 2003 in Germany scoring up to 8.8 and qualifying for the 6 year old Bundeschampionate. He also qualified to represent the German team at the World Championships in Verden. In 2004 he started out well in the higher M level classes winning his first start of the season winning a large class. Rhodes Scholar competed and won at Prix St George and was in training with Katrin Burger for the Grand Prix. His foals are leggy, modern types, with many that earned first premium and were inspection site champions in Germany. They all have wonderful temperaments and are extremely attractive. His damline has produced 12 licensed stallion sons in Europe as well as Bundeschampions, high priced auction horses and successful dressage competitors. We are sorry to report that this great stallion passed away. We do, however, have frozen semen so that we may continue passing on his great characteristics. Our Martini daughter, Sazarac, produced a very handsome colt by Rhodes Scholar. This colt was awarded "premium with distinction" at the 2009 GOV inspection. In 2011 our mare, Silvi, presented us with a gorgeous colt named Rhomeo. We also have a wonderful 2015 filly (Premium with Distinction) sired by Rhodes Scholar out of our mare DeNantes. She's a keeper.

Las Vegas - He was approved in 2006 for the Oldenburg Verband - North America. Besides marveling the judges with his outstanding basic gaits, Las Vegas impressed immensely with his huge scope and potential over fences. In 2005 he was licensed for the Danish Warmblood Society and was approved for the performance testing at the Danish Warmblood Licensing in Herning, Denmark, under the name "Lancaster Tagerup". Las Vegas is one of the best free jumpers in the country and as a dual talent, shows great promise to be a highly successful FEI dressage horse. Las Vegas was sired by the 1995 Oldenburg Stallion Solos Landtinus by the legendary Holsteiner stallion, Landadel, out of the famous Oldenburg mare line of Uta. Landtinus, a Premium stallion at his Oldenburg Kuering in Germany and a stallion performance test winner, has in 2 years produced 10 licensed stallions to this time including Las Vegas. The Elite mare Utopia, Dam of Landtinus, has also produced St. Pr. St. / Elite and Brilliant ring mare Uganda; and Queen of movement and 1a German Show mare Utima, now a breeding pearl in the Bechtolsheimer stable. This multi purpose dam line excels in both Jumpers and dressage horses. Castanje Tagerup, dam of Las Vegas by the Danish approved Holsteiner stallion Lord Cantus completed an impressive mare performance test earning multiple 8's. The Oldenburg Stallion Licensing Committee has chosen Florencio as the winner of the the Hauptpremium title. His foals have been of excellent quality and many of them brought the top prices at the Vechta foal auctions. While Fandango has been sold, you may visit him on our foals page.
