We hope to put a smile on your face every time you ride.  Our goal is to provide horses that are talented enough to go to the top with the temperament that makes them a delight to own.  We offer some of the best bloodlines available today, with an emphasis on trainability.

Vermont Warmbloods was inspired by the very real need expressed by riders and breeders to be able to find an honest source that can connect them with the quality horses that they seek at realistic prices.  Most of these fine warmblood horses were either bred here in Vermont, or imported to Vermont. Although we are not brokers, we have added a few horses to our site that are hand selected based on their innate quality and/or performance records.  To further accommodate you, we have added some selected horses that are currently in Europe.  We also have some links to other web sites that we think that you will find to be of interest. 

With the  cost of overseas transport increasing steadily for a variety of reasons, we feel that it makes sense to search for your warmblood horses here in the USA.  With over 50 years of breeding experience and this having been a passion throughout our lives, we feel qualified to help you find the perfect horse.  In order to remove as much of the risk from your purchase as possible, all of our sale offerings have been seen by qualified veterinarians and we will gladly arrange for X-rays of the mature horses if you so desire.

Our horses and stallion choices represent some of the best bloodlines available in the world.  Our mares are all accepted by the German Oldenburg Verband and carry the blood of such notable sires as Rubinstein, Silvio, and Donnerschwee.  On the dam side, our mares trace their bloodlines back to outstanding dams such as Egale, Gelbkatze, and Charisma.  We have tried to produce horses with an exceptional combination of movement, athletic ability, temperament, rideability, and beauty.

We are located within a 10 minute drive to the Burlington airport and can pick you up there.  Please note that we are willing to negotiate discounts to serious competitors and breeders as your success will contribute to our ultimate goals.
